| I was driving my wife home from her prenatal appointment in the Z, because she managed to destroy the hood of the G20 two weeks ago in the first damned blizzard that hit NM. I was driving along at a normal speed for my street (about 20MPH), trying not to nail the front fascia on the piled up snow in between the two ruts that cars have driven on, and the rear end stepped out. I did everything I could (turn into the skid, take the car out of gear), but it ran right up the pile of snow on the curb and took out my neighbors' yucca. The front fascia of the car is done. It's in about 4 pieces. Goddamn it! Guess it's time to buy a J-spec fascia. I wish I could have put that $1k into other things on the car, though. Just ordered replacement splashguards from Z1 (passenger, driver, front fascia splashguard), along with the fog light that I destroyed. $340. Yikes. Good thing I'll be gone for two weeks, because otherwise I'd be totally screwed.
